Check-ups

It’s advisable that you do a dental check-up every 6 months for healthy teeth and gums, unless recommended otherwise by the dentist. A check-up may consist of a general examination and teeth cleaning.

Tooth Fillings

Tooth fillings help restore a damaged tooth. It mainly consists of removing tooth decay and repairing it with a filling. A toothache could be the first sign that you need a tooth filling, but other signs could also be dark spots, cracks or holes in your tooth, a broken tooth or food constantly getting stuck between a particular tooth.

Tooth Extractions

Pulling a tooth out might be the fear of many, but sometimes it could be the only solution to get rid of the pain and further complications. Tooth extractions are sometimes necessary, especially when a tooth is very badly damaged or if a tooth doesn’t have space where to break through the gum.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a very common cosmetic dentistry procedure. If you smoke or drink dark beverages such as coffee or soft drinks, your teeth can easily get stained and the less you take care of them the more it will be difficult to treat. By applying the leading products on the market, we aim to give the whitest results for good looking teeth.

Root Canal Treatment

The root canal is located in the centre of every tooth. By performing an x-ray, a dentist can tell exactly whether it has been infected or damaged by bacteria which is found in the mouth. There are usually two options to remove the bacteria - either by doing a root canal treatment to remove the bacteria from the tooth or have the tooth completely extracted.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns and bridges are prosthetic devices usually made of metal or porcelain added to the tooth to strengthen it and also improve its aesthetics. While a crown is sort of a fixed cap covering a tooth that has been broken, decayed or damaged, a bridge is a false tooth fixed to replace the missing gap of a tooth.

Gum Disease Treatment

Poor oral hygiene such as not brushing your teeth, can lead to gum disease due to a build-up of plaque in your mouth. Other causes of gum disease may also be smoking, pregnancy, diabetes and malnutrition. With a combination of good oral hygiene, dental and medical treatments advised by your dentist, you can have a successful gum disease treatment.

Tooth Implants

If your mouth has shrunk so much that it cannot hold a denture to replace missing teeth, the alternative option is that of having tooth implants. Tooth implants are titanium fixtures suitable to replace either one tooth or more. Once fixed, a tooth implant is there to last for life and no further modifications are needed.

Oral Surgery

You may think of something really bad and painful when thinking of oral surgery. However, performing oral surgery is quite common in various procedures performed on the teeth and gums, such as impacted wisdom teeth, tooth implants and jaw bone reconstructive surgery.

Intraoral x-rays

An intraoral x-ray is very common in dentistry and is performed by taking an x-ray inside the mouth. This type of x-ray provides the dentist a detailed diagnosis about the teeth, bone and the supporting tissues in cases like cavities, gum disease and other oral infections.
